I’ll miss you, my friends, and the classes, but I’m sure I’ll return re-energized and ready to go! (I’d better ~ I have a project due the day we get back & I haven’t started! shhh!) *A*
I know it’s totally illegal, but I HAD to share these with you. Aren’t they wonderful! I am so grateful for the life I have. Today has actually been a pretty tough day. We all have our struggles, and this has been a day when my struggles were VERY apparent, but I look at my life and I know that my blessings far outweigh the struggles. I also know that we are given our challenges for a reason: we are to learn from them! If we don’t learn from our struggles then our pain/stress/struggling was for nothing! I hope I can learn my lesson soon so I can have new challenges! 🙂
Wow! Tonight we had our meeting for the January, February, March quarter. You will see another crop of AMAZING classes from my talented "team mates!" YEAH!

Santa’s Workshop: My project is a wood block that holds up three 4×4 layouts. I designed the layouts using Basic Grey’s Blitzen line (I LOVE this line ~ we used it on Believe {#2} last year). The wood is painted in Bittersweet Chocolate (kind of between black & brown) so it’s nice and neutral ~ it’ll go with your black or wood furniture. I thought that you might want to change the layouts with the seasons, add new photos, etc.
When: The cost is $15. The class is held ONE time only … Saturday, December 2 from 9:30 to 11:00. Sign-up early if you want to come!

All summer long my oldest has been thrilled about going to Kindergarten. He’s looked forward to being at the "big" school with the other "big" kids. At Back to School night last week, we had to "gently urge" him to sit with a friend from our church. Today was his chance to have a one-on-one with his teacher. I was not supposed to be in there, but he wouldn’t even look at her without me. As he opened up, I slowly scooted farther away … it took everything I had to not help him with the numbers & letters he forgot in his nervousness (he killed counting the crayons, shapes & colors!). At the end he loved his new teacher and I’m hoping we can avoid a crying spell like we had last year for pre-school. He only did that the first day … he’s really outgoing, except at first, then he displays his "shyness" (he’ll tell you he’s not shy). Personally, I haven’t had a hard time with him going to school, so we’ll see how he and I handle the first official day next Tuesday. Wish me luck!
