Class sign ups have begun and I am a FLAKE!  I’m late in getting these up!  But, you will be so proud of me … I finished 3 layouts in three hours!  I am so NOT a fast scrapbooker.  But as I was finishing them Monday afternoon and sign ups started at 9:00 that morning … I had no other choice than to trust myself and go with my instincts.  I hope you like the results!  Here they are:

• The me. in the "Love me." layout is my handwriting (I made it into a foam stamp).  "Love me." is actually really personal to me, ever since my husband and I began dating that is how I have signed anything I wrote him.  Not only did I want him to know that I loved him, but I wanted him to love me for me (not a perceived me, but the real, uncut me)

For those of you who are wondering … I AM still alive, although I do feel that I am barely holding on in some aspects.  My holidays have been wonderful and emotionally draining all at the same time (I’ll try to explain one day).

My second tip was on Clique TV! this week.  I feel that I did a better job this time.  Watch it and let me know what you think! 

You’ll recognize the layout I used (it’s on display in the Basic Grey section at AMM) … thank you for commenting on the blog, Michelle and for letting me have the priviledge of scrapping your beautiful daughter!  It was a reward for me and I hope you liked it!

By happenstance, I have filmed three "Tips of the Week".  The first of which aired today!  You can go to CliqueTV! to view it.  It’s really weird.  I did a project on Good Things Utah (a local "The View" type talk show) but I was talking to the hostess while I did the project.  For this, I had to pretend there was an audience.  I hope you like it!  Let me know what you think!

Okay, just a couple of details.  The store has SOME, not much, of the paper in stock now.  I ordered plenty of paper for our kits and Basic Grey promised to have it delivered by Friday.  I will shoot out an email when it’s in.  Also … all Basic Grey paper is 20% off on Monday, if you are okay to wait until then!  (Check the AMM blog for all the other deals that are going on this month!)  The embellishments & ribbon I used are on their way also, but it hasn’t arrived yet.  But that’s okay … there’s a ton of other cute ribbons and other embellishments!  I know whatever you choose will be totally cute!

p.s.  Neal now has strep!  I swear!  Every other day for the past three weeks we’ve been at the doctor.  I hoping our ENT appointment on Friday ends it!  Oh, wait, we’ve got the dentist on Wed.  We’ll have to wait until then!  😉

I hate the fund drives that Public Television Stations do.   I understand the purpose in it, but I hate how it interrupts my viewing schedule.  I need my nightly dose of Perry Mason!

Today was an early day for me.  As most of you know, I am a night owl.  So getting up early is extremely difficult and getting up at 5:00 am to go to Primary Children’s was an even more daunting task for me.  To catch you up on my son … The CT-Scan showed that the bone structure of his ears are normal.  He does, however, have nerve damage in one ear and a 3,000 mhz hearing loss (A woman’s high-pitched voice).

But, the CT-Scan showed a different abnormality.  Here’s the layman version:  We each have 5 holes at the base of our skull.  One of them, the Foreman Ovale has the Fifth Nerve go up through it.  The Fifth Nerve is the Sensory Nerve for the Right side of our face.  His hole has not completely formed (Picture a "c" instead of an "o") that can mean that it just didn’t finish forming or that there is a growth that is pushing it apart.  If it is a growth, it is most likely a Benign Tumor.  So today we went for an MRI.  He was VERY brave!  He was sedated because an MRI takes so long.  They told us his would take 30 minutes and they actually took over an hour!  It made me feel good that they were so thorough.  The doctor who performed the MRI told us that there is no growth, just that abnormality.  The side affects or which include numbness or pain both of which are unlikely.

So, he’s got a slight hearing loss … but NO tumor!  Some of you know (I don’t hide it, but I don’t generally announce it) but I have no conductive hearing one ear.  It’s always been that way & I’ve learned to adjust to where most people don’t notice.  He can do it to.  Thank you for your concern!  *A*

p.s.  I’ve got ho ho ho designed, I just need to finish the shopping list and instructions.  Also, I have the wood and I’m almost done putting it in sacks.  I’ll let you know when I’ve got them ready to pick up at the store.  Oh, and Perry’s on!!!

p.s.s.  I taught the kids this song last week in church and cried all through teaching it to them!  Maybe it has to do with my worries with Neal.  If we can all realize how loved we are we can make it through anything:

Whenever I hear the song of a bird, or look at the blue, blue sky; Whenever I feel the rain on my face or the wind as it rushes by; Whenever I touch a velvet rose or walk by a Lilac Tree; I’m glad that I live in this beautiful world, Heavenly Father created for me.

He gave me my eyes that I might see the color of butterfly wings; He gave me my ears that I might hear the MAGICAL sound of things; He gave me my life, my mind, my heart; I thank him rev’rently for all His creations of which I’m a part … YES, I KNOW Heavenly Father loves me!

My sweet son, Neal, has failed two hearing screenings at school.  So we took him to the ENT on Monday.  They were very thorough with his examination ~ the audiologist tested hime for about 30 minutes!  Anyway, there are some irregularities with his left ear, so we are going to Primay Children’s tomorrow to have a CT-Scan.  Then we’ll go back to the ENT on Monday to see what the results tell us.  I’ll let you know!

I’ve go Possibilities! Thursday.  We have a full class and I am looking forward to teaching.  It’s so much fun!  There are so many of you who regularly come to my classes that it’s like I am going to hang out with my friends instead of working!  Thank you for your support!  I hope that my classes bring you as much joy as they do me!  *A*

I said I would let you know what’s up with All My Memories.  Here’s the Reader’s Digest version.  Keep in mind this only affects the warehouse, NOT the store!  All My Memories Wholesale and the Retail Store are seperate.  They did not start off that way, but as of this summer, they are seperate.

All My Memories Wholesale is taking a different direction in their product lines.  They will no longer be selling paper, ribbon, embellishments, albums … etc.  What they WILL be selling are the "sewn goods".  Sewn goods are the totes, shoulder bags and purses.

There is good news for you:  You are officially invited to attend the HUGE All My Memories Warehouse Sale where they will be liquidating all the products they will no longer be selling!  Look for prices that are 50% of wholesale pricing!  WOW!  (Paper and cardstock, Bazzill!, Stickers and rub-ons, embellishments, albums, storage tins and MORE!)  Here is the info:  Download amm_warehouse_sale.doc

Because of this, there is no Design Team … so I am no longer on the AMM Design Team! This is not all together bad, because I have been trying to figure a way to cut back, and this is a way.  All things happen for a reason.  Four days after finding out there is no DT, my husband was called to be our Ward’s Executive Secretary.  I am excited he has this opportunity.  I am also excited that he will be able to sit with me in Sacrament Meeting still!  It will be a challenge for our family and a blessing at the same time!

My Dear Friends!  I have good news!  For those of you who have been asking me to design a Christmas letter set … I’ve done it … here it is!

Don’t the swirlies on the "h’s" remind you of elves shoes???  Because of recent events with the AMM wholesale division (I’ll go into that later), I will not be using AMM paper … but that allows me to use what I really want to use:  Basic Grey’s new Dasher line and a dash of their Fruitcake line!  They coordinate beautifully with the Blitzen line that we used last year for Believe.

We will run this like we ran SPOOKY … you will pay me, not the store, I will let you know when they are available.  I am still working on where you will pick them up (whether it’s at the store or somewhere else).  I will let you know on that.  For more information, please print this form:
