The boys absolutely begged me to purchase the new Basic Grey Archaic line when they saw it at the store.
Of course, I snagged it ALL! This is one of the most fun lines to design with! I sure enjoyed "playing" with this line.
I demonstrated this project on a local program called Good Things Utah. Click here if you’d like to watch.
If you’d like to make this project for yourself, here are the complete instructions for you to download: Download archaic_boy_2008_04_07_gtu.pdf
A couple of quick pointers:
- I bought the frames at Rod Works. I wanted flat frames so that I could stamp on them if I wanted to, but didn’t end up doing it. Any frame style will work!
- Purchase flat brackets from a home improvement store. Using something to help with spacing (I used wood alphabet stamps) and short screws, connect the frames. This way your frames are evenly spaced and you only have to hang one "frame".
- Glossy Accents: I used Glossy Accents by Ranger on the chipboard and "handsome" rub-on. It made it shiny and brought
it out more.
Thanks for visiting!

The Salt Lake Tribune article is already online. Click here to view the article online. I’d like to thank Linda Fantin for allowing me the opportunity to share my thoughts about All My Memories. It was good for me to be able to sit down and think of all that I have been able to do because of my association with AMM.
Products used:
Scenic Route: Capitol Hill (blush) Chipboard
Basic Grey: (Sugared) Paper, Stickers and Chipboard Shapes; Journal Block & Ornamental Flower Stamps and Large circle bookplate
Doodlebug: (Bon Bon) Crystal

Once a month, Linda Fantin, writes an article for the Tribune. On Monday her article will feature All My Memories. I was interviewed in conjunction with this article and also designed an All My Memories “Tribute” layout.

Also on Monday, I will appear on Good Things Utah representing All My Memories for the last time. (It’s so strange!)

Check back Monday for links to both!

The June “Amber’s Possibilities” kit club features two fun layouts. I guess I’m tired of winter and COLD because everything I used has hibiscus flowers and bright colors.
These layout kits can be purchased at A Page 4 All Seasons and are only available by enrolling in the
“Amber’s Possibilities!” monthly autoship club.
“Just for today … I will try not to worry about the future and who you will become, but take pleasure in who you are … RIGHT NOW!” (This title was on a page designed by Heidi Swapp, credit goes to her!)
Isn’t this GORGEOUS? As you can see, I believe that boy pages can be made using swirls, flowers and bling and still be masculine. I’ve designed my page with a 6 x 8 photo, but this layout will perfectly fit two 4 x 6 photos!
Summer Dreams: As you can tell, I’ve had “summer dreams”. This is the perfect layout to get you out of the cold blahs just add five photos that remind you of summer and you’re done!
***You will get the entire summer sticker package and can use any descriptive stickers you’d like. You’ll also get an entire package of alphabet stickers so you can change your titles to suit your needs***

ENJOY!

I have been sent this packet a few times in the last couple of days.
Click here to download packet: Download generalconferenceactivitypacket1.pdf
No one knows who designed it, so I can’t give them credit! I tried to find the source, and had no luck (FYI, don’t do a google search on "conference packet"). While trying to find it, I found this website that also has downloadable packets.
Thank you for thinking of my boys! I hope these packets will help with your Conference experience!

p.s. I’m designing the "Amber’s Possibilities" June Autoship today. I’ll put pics up tomorrow!

5 weeks ago we realized that the end of April was coming up really fast and you hadn’t been working hard enough on AR testing. You don’t need to do it, in fact, you’re excelling in every area in the classroom. But, if you have 30 points by the end of the month, you get to go on a really fun field trip to Classic Fun Center and McDonalds for lunch.
At that point you had 13 points & only needed 17 more. With each book averaging .5 points and 10 weeks left, you to read and take tests on 3 to 4 books a week. You had a lot of support. Grandma Packer and Carey both gave you a stack of books. You read two of the Spiderwick Chronicles books, both have over 100 pages.
Well, today, you took 3 tests and now have 30.5 points!
Way to go … ahead of your goal! I’m so proud of you for setting a goal and working hard to achieve it. I know you can do anything you set your mind to. You are hard to sway when you are determined!

http://www.youtube.com/v/3x-CqPoAmNs&hl=en
";” alt=””>Our family got Disney’s Enchanted from the Easter Bunny. It’s one of those movies we all wanted to see in the theater and never go to.
When you were growing up, did you feel like Cinderella doing your chores (I had to clean the bathroom once a week, can you believe it!)? Did you watch Snow White and dream of having the woodland creatures help you clean your room? I did. Well, after watching this scene from Enchanted, I think I’m happy doing my own chores. Somehow rats, moths and cockroaches aren’t as cute as animated or
REAL squirrels. -
Because next week is General Conference, today was fast Sunday. While listening to the testimonies of others in the congregation, my youngest came up to my husband and I and said he wanted to bear his testimony. I didn’t want to go up, but he was so cute and I feel you need to let your children do things like that when they want to. So up we went. He started: “I’d like to bear my testimony” and then he stopped. He’d seen how many people were in the congregation and talked loud so that everyone could hear and scared himself! I couldn’t get him to say anything else. I was proud of him and his willingness to try.
In Primary he was asked to give the scripture. All week we practiced 1 John 4:14: And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. He even had a bunch of it memorized. Well, that cute little one got up after scaring himself an hour earlier and said the scripture. When he was done, he said to his teacher: “I didn’t scare myself!” I am so proud of that
little one!
