My challenge from Bo Bunny was to use their Sweetie Pie line.  I could do anything I’d like as long as I used that line.

Since I did my “14 Things” layout on my scrapbook room, I thought I’d focus (a little humorously) on my cute hubby.  He is not afraid to kiss me in public, as you can see.  Most of the time I like it, but sometimes I don’t think it’s the right time.  Hence the title:  “14 years of this?  I mean bliss”

Thanks honey!  I can’t believe it’s our 14th “Love Sucks” Day (known as Valentine’s Day to you).

It's hard to believe my baby will be 8 next month!  It really was just yesterday that he was born.  All I did was blink!  Now you are a smart, handsome, funny young man.  One of my favorite things about you is that you want to do what's right.  You don't always do it, but you try to learn from your decisions – good and bad.  You are thrilled at the chance you have to turn 8 and can't wait to be baptized.  We went to the "Great to be 8" fireside last Sunday (2/8/09).  You made sure everyone was on their toes and even told the bishop when he would be meeting with you!

"Does anyone have any more questions?

N: "When do we meet with the Bishop?"

Bishop: "Usually the Sunday before your 8th birthday."

N: "Okay, that will be _______.  Because my birthday is on Monday the _______."

Bishop: "You'll have to speak with _______.  He schedules all my appointments"

He happened to be sitting behind you.  So, you turned around and asked him if that would be the day.  He said he would "hook you up".

They'll never get a chance to forget – you won't let them!  As you tell me all the time, you remember everything!

Since All My Memories has closed, I don't get to teach like I used to.  I love the design work I get to do, but miss seeing all of you!  I'm looking forward to seeing those of you who are able to make it to this class!

Love Bouquet

All supplies are Bo Bunny: Chunky Chips Alpha Clear, Chunky Charm Swirls & Bracket Clear, Chunky Charm Swirls & Bracket Chiffon, Flirty paper, Flirty Dots paper, Flirty Flower paper, Keep Us Together Cardstock Sticker, 5/8″ DD Cranberry Ribbon, Bella Journee Rubons (white), 3″ Wild Berry Flower, 3″ Chocolate Flower, 3″ pink Punch Flower, All Stuck Up Wild Berry Flowers, All Stuck Up Pink Punch Flowers, All Stuck Up Licorice Flowers, DD Wild Berry Brads, DD Pink Punch Brads, DD Chocolate Brads, Holly Jolly Brads,

Designer Tips:
1. Use Bodacious Brads packaging as a chocolate mold.
2. To color to Bo Bunny’s Clear products, use Alcohol Inks.
3. Flowers: Layer Bo Bunny flowers to your liking using a Bo Bunny brad in the center. Cut a 24″ piece of heavy wire (I used rebar wire). Twist tightly to form a solid surface to glue the flower to. Wrap around a 1/2″ dowel to form spring. Use a hot glue stick for metal, add a small amount of glue to the back of the flower and adhere to wire. Stretch and form to desired height.

I think I’m still recovering from being away from my family for 8 days!  I LOVED being at CHA!  I made new friends and there are some interesting things for me to think about.  I need to fill you in on my experiences and still need to put up the projects I did for CHA.  I had layouts up in the Bo Bunny, My Mind’s Eye and ScrapOnizer booths!  I’ll be putting them up and will probably do a little backdating (I hope you’ll forgive me) in the next few days.  Check back often.  I’m getting back in the blogging groove again!

Coming up:  Fancy Pants Designs is sponsoring my next Good Things Utah appearance on February 12.  I’m deciding what that project will be tonight.  I’m excited to play with their products!

I LOVE my job!  It’s so much fun to be in on the “secret” of what’s coming out for purchase at our local stores!  These layouts are created using My Mind’s Eye‘s new Penny Lane line.  And, yes, I did sing while I worked!  I couldn’t help myself!  It wasn’t just Penny Lane that I sang, there’s Feeling Groovy, Free Bird, Tiny Dancer & Maggie May.  It’s kind of a “rule” – you have to sing when you design with this line ;)!  I think it’s JT that we have to thank for the fun titles.

The March 1st Autoship includes: 2- two page layouts designed with this fun line.  You’ll get everything you need to finish the layouts as shown above:  alphabet stickers (so you can do your own titles), bling, frames, ribbon, cardstock titles and paper.
