This is what we did!  The last game is on Tuesday night at 7:00.  I hope they do their best (especially Geoff)!

  • Welcome to the first Bo Bunny blog hop! My name is Amber Packer and this is your third "hop" on your way to find our First Ever Guest Designer!

Julia has asked us to share our favorite car with you.  I have a couple.

    86-Nissan_300Z_DV-07-PCS_01

My dad had a blue Nissan 300ZX.  It was good looking, fast and really got noticed.  I was in Jr. High and LOVED that car.  I thought it was going to be mine when I turned 16.  When my dad sold it and bought a Blazer, I refused to ride in it for a while I was so upset!

    83_Mercedes_380-SL_Dv-06-BJ-u01

This was my other "dream" car when I was a teenager.  I remember one driven in an episode of Remington Steele.  My teenage mind could think of nothing better than a Mercedes Convertible & Pierce Brosnan!  Bryan is glad he now knows what to aspire to – wink!

    1988 Acura Legend

In College I drove a gold Acura Legend.  It had leather seats, a CD player (I was one of the only people I knew who had one) and a moon roof.  I thought I was hot stuff.  Now I know that if I want to be cool, I need to treat others well.  A car can't do it.

    Impala 1

My dad had a Chevy Impala when he was young.  A few years ago, he bought this one.  It was so much fun to drive!

I guess my favorite cars are like my scrapbook style: Clean Lines, Eye-Catching, Powerful, Eclectic, Inspirational, Nostalgic and FUN!

Keep going … you're going to have fun!  Your next "hop" will be to the fabulous Kristin Swain's blog.  I hope you enjoyed your stop here.  Look around.  I hope you'll find value in what I have written.

Before you leave my blog, comment on any post Amberso we know you made it here!

Here are the layouts I designed for the April 1, 2009 Shipment of my “Amber’s Possibilities” kit club at A Page 4 All Seasons.

The first two-page layout: “Signs of Spring” uses the Urban Prairie line from Basic Grey.  Don’t you have spring fever?  I just love this line!  The bright colors and fabulous patterns are perfect for capturing your favorite spring photos.

The second two-page layout: “some kind of WONDERFUL” is designed using paper and clear embellishments from Heidi Swapp.  This paper is so gorgeous!  It can also be used for boys, girls, pets … anything you’d like!

As always, this kit is pre-cut.  You’ll get an entire chipboard alphabet (so you can customize your titles), ribbon, bling, flowers and felt so you can make these fun layouts!

    Cost:

    • $25.00: if you are a member of this club.
    • $27.50: If you are not a member, but you have to wait to order until after April 1 to place your order and there are no guarantees there will be extras to purchase.Amber

    I hope you enjoy them!

  • 2008_07_30_0005 So … tonight we're saying our family prayer and it's Riley's turn to say it.  He likes either Bryan or I to help him (usually me).  Anyway, I'm helping him say the prayer and I "suggest" he say:

"Bless us that we will BUILD each other up."

    This is what he says:

"Bless us that we will BEAT each other up."

After I was able to control my laughter (of course it's me that's a bad example and laughing), I helped him pray for the correct blessing and we finished.

Like I said, a misinterpretation.  The really ironic thing is that Riley has been having this "little" issue: he hits!  Now he's praying for help to do it really good!  What are we teaching our two cute hoodlums?  GEEZ!Amber
