It’s so much fun to watch your child learn, grown and gain confidence in themselves.  That’s what I get to do every Saturday.  Look at the effort my little man is putting forth on defense.  As soon as the shot is off, he’s boxing out his man ready for the rebound!Amber

  • Dance dance dance Like, OH MY GOSH!  It hasn’t been that long, has it?  I mean the first 90210 was everyone’s favorite show, Milli Vanilli was oh so hot and I had braces!  What wasn’t to love about high school?

    Some of my favorite memories:

Choir, boys, dances, friends, almost getting sent home from Choir Tour my Senior year.  I was so upset, my straight hair Dance dance dance_close upwould not get me a really good  “claw” for my bangs and it would not hold a perm.  I can remember my friend Christine and I sluffing school and attending another school (to meet boys) and some girls yelled out their car window at us “Get a perm!”  We laughed so hard!  I used to hate my hair – now I love it.  Go figure!  My Biology teacher made me kiss a petri dish so the boys in my class would know how many germs were on my lips!  There is a story involving a manequin and Homecoming Dance, but we won’t go into that.

Although HS was fun, there was a lot of heartache and soul searching, too.  It was I ran for student government every year and didn’t win once, I was on the ballot for dance queen more than once and never won.  But, through it all, I decided who I wanted to be and what I wanted from life, it started me in the right direction.  Because, as usual, I knew what I wanted, but what I wanted wasn’t what was best for me!

I've been working for (and playing with) Bo Bunny's products since April last year.  I have had so much fun with their fabulous products!  This is the second time I've gotten to use their products on Good Things Utah.  I absolutely love playing with acrylic (as you can tell) and the super fun shapes in the Flourish Album are to die for!  They're so romantic – absolutely perfect for the most romantic time of the year!

Bo Bunny has sent the instructions to local scrapbook stores so they should have these products.  If they don't, be sure to tell them you're looking for these products because you saw them on Good Things Utah, then follow this link to the Bo Bunny Blog to see a list of online companies that have a large selection of Bo Bunny products!Amber

    ENJOY!

Because a lot of our traditions involve our extended family, my little family doesn’t have too many of our “own” traditions.  Gingerbread is fast becoming one that we 2008_12_14_0031look forward to.  Neal was given a gingerbread tree from his BF, Cole, and Riley was given a gingerbread house from his BFG, Molly.  I bought the family the really cute train you see the boys and I working on.

It is really fun to watch them get creative with their decorating.  This year was especially fun because Neal did the tree all on his own!  He was worried at first and asked for help, so I told him to try it and if he still needed help, I’d be there for him.  It was fun to watch his confidence grow 2008_12_14_0046as he progressed in the project!

This is always one of my Amberfavorite nights.
