Okay, I just finished tonight. I wasn't accomplishing anything by not finishing it, so I thought I had better just READ IT and be done with it.
Now, I have to tell you this: I really enjoy these books, but I am not a fanatic. I see flaws (gasp!) with both Edward and Jacob so I can't pick sides.
In fact, for those of you who have read this one, I have a dilemma:
What do I do when my Young Women ask me to borrow it? I'm not sure I should lend it to them, if you know what I mean!
That being said, I have decided that I should be a Vampire. I can see so many positives:
- I would no longer be clumsy (ask my sister and brother-in-law about how I walked off their porch last week scraping up my leg – I think the final dismount was entertaining, though!)
- Not having to sleep would be a BIG plus! I just might be able to stay caught up on my deadlines, play with my children, clean the house, spend quality time with my husband, and fulfill my calling better than I do now.
- Wouldn't it be nice to have perfect complexion without having to use (how many?) products! I could go to "sleep" without washing my face and not regret it in the morning!
- Oh, and think of the money I would save on hiding my gray hair! (Just one patch … right in the front!)
- What about my figure? Again, the guilt I could save when I don't exercise! And how great would I look in my jeans! WOW!
I guess the only drawback would be the diet. Hmmm, where do I sign up!
I hope you enjoy the read too! On to a good mystery!
