Or so we hope!
Yesterday Riley swallowed a penny!
I know what you are thinking, what's an almost 4 year old doing swallowing a penny? Isn't that something that babies do?
It wasn't under my watch! Bryan was changing his diaper, saw the penny and heard the "gulp!" We called the doctor to see what needed to be done. We were told to have him drink water and eat bread to make sure they would go down.
I guess it's a good thing he wasn't younger or the penny wouldn't have made it down.
Good, but NOW I get to "watch" for a penny. If the penny doesn't come out in 5 days, we need to go to the doctor to make sure it's not stuck! Fun … NOT!!! Oh, the things we parents do!

Have I told you my husband has great taste? You know, besides the obvious? This fun jewelry was my gift from him. It's made by Tribal Jewelry Unlimited. It's reasonably priced ($10 – $24 a piece) and so much fun! He bought me the Arial necklace, Courtney earrings and Gabbie bracelet. So here's the deal, I want more! So I MAY (I hate myself for even thinking it) have a party. Email me (bloominmemories@yahoo.com) if you are interested in being invited. I hate being invited to parties like this & don't want to bug anyone who is not interested. Look through their website and I'll bet you find a thing or two you'd love to add to your collection!

WOW! And, yes, that means I was only 11 when I got married! Oh, how time flies!
This is one of my new favorite pictures. I found it the other day when I was going through my parent's pictures. I think it's a favorite because you can see Bryan and I just enjoying being together. No poses, just enjoying each other. That's what marriage is all about … being together. Knowing that no matter what we face, we are going to do it side by side. No one leading, no one following, just us and our Father in Heaven. I'm amazed at what we've been through in the past 13 years. Some of it, I'm not even sure how we made it. But here we are plugging along one day at a time, enjoying it together!

We completely enjoyed ourselves this weekend! It was fantastically fun! Some of the kids questioned our decision and were worried when we said we were going to Snow College for our Youth Conference. Once we got there, everyone was thrilled! We played in water activities (I
tried to do a 360 spin on my back down the slide that turned into a really funny 180 face first on my back slide!). We also played fire brigade, water crab soccer, slip & slide, buddy tag & participated in some “team building” activities.
For our fireside, I taught the kids about Abigail (1 Samuel 25) and how she was “Steadfast and Immovable“. She was a wise, courageous, faithful woman who helped build those around her.
It was a TON of fun!
But, I’m trying to figure out when IT happened!? It wasn’t the case at Girl’s Camp a couple weeks ago. But, for the first time I’ve been a leader in YW (I’m either in YW or Primary) I felt a little … “un-cool”! Who knows, maybe it was because I sat in the hall until almost 1 am to make sure the girls stayed in their rooms safe and sound! Oh, if only they understood how the “little” decisions in life can have “huge” consequences! They’re such fun girls! It’s good for me to get away from a house full
of testosterone for a while! -

A Page 4 All Seasons was featured today as “Angie’s Hot Topic“. I made layouts for Angie, Nicea, Marti & Reagan using kits that are sold at A Page 4 All Seasons.
The “girls” sent me some of their favorite pics and I picked layouts that matched the pictures I was sent. Because of the great selection of kits that are available, I was able to find kits that matched each of their pages from a good variety of designers. They LOVED them! Thanks Ang!
Have fun watching the clip! What is the secret Angie reveals a little surprise about herself? Leave the answer in a comment on my blog and I’ll pick someone to send a prize to!

p.s. Scrapbook USA Class sign-ups are tomorrow!

This morning I was reminded by Neal that I told the boys they needed to play outside more and in the mornings, preferably.
So off they went, riding from 9:30 – 12:00. And a couple of hours more this afternoon.
“Neal said to me, maybe we’ll break the World Record for the longest time bike riding in a row!”
We looked it up, they didn’t break the world record (World Record Holder).
But they had a lot of fun and sure know how to outfit themselves:
* White Gloves!? Check!
* Spiderman Gloves!? Check!
* Pants on Riley in 95 degree heat!? Check!
* Long Sleeve Shirt on Riley in 95 degree heat!? Check!
* Neal’s special look (t-shirt underneath Jr. Jazz Jersey)!? Check!
* LOTS of Fun!? Check!
* LOTS of Crashes!? Check!
**I don’t WANT to eat lunch!**
Guess what!? We’re working on my room tonight!
Good Things Utah didn’t get to my layouts today, but they will tomorrow!

A couple of months ago one of the GTU producers asked me if I would do an "activities chart". I've been waiting for the RIGHT product. You know my concerns: if this is going in my house, it's not going to be cheesy! When I was done with the segment today, Rox told me that it was so much more beautiful than she had imagined, that her idea had been "Amber-ized". WOW! What a compliment! I hope you enjoy it as much as she does!
Did you recognize the products? If not, click here. My Mind's Eye generously sponsored the segment today. Of course I chose to use their "Coastal" line. I'll say it again, the new Laundry Line is to DIE for! You will LOVE it!
Did you miss it? Watch the video here.
Want to make your own? Download these instructions:

VOTE! GTU is taking a poll of which segments their viewers like most, go to their site and vote for your favorite! Don't forget to comment, you can leave a comment with each segment. If you like seeing me on there, let GTU know!
Watch! Tomorrow during table talk (the 1st 10 minutes), the ladies are going to show some layouts I made for them using A Page 4 All Seasons kits and pictures of their families!

Hugs!
