While the My Mind’s Eye 6×6 paper pads ARE perfect cards (yeah), they are also the perfect for cone wreaths.

Normally when you make a cone wreath, you cut down 12 x 12 papers or old music paper to 6×6.

But, with just TWO 6×6 pads, some of our gorgeous trims and brads with some doilies thrown in for good measure, you have everything you need to make this “love”ly wreath.

When I designed the wreath, I used two Lost & Found – Madison Avenue 6×6 pads. I demonstrated this project today on Good Things Utah using the Lost & Found 2 – Blush pad.  FYI: the Love Me 6×6 pads would be darling, too.

I have included the instructions here:  Download 2012_01_10_MME_Love Wreath_cone

I will upload the segment here when it is ready this afternoon. (Here it is – wink)

This project is quick and easy to make. With the fabulous variety of 6×6 pads My Mind’s Eye offers, there is something for every occasion through out the year! clip_image001

p.s. Guess what awesome thing is happening today?  Our plans are being submitted to the city.  I was so excited when I heard that I started to cry!

What size is the base circle? I’m excited to make this. Saw another one that was made for the 4th of July.

Lynn, the background circle is about 8″. Let me know how it goes!
