My friend Carrie Butler’s brother, Brett Fafard, is suffering from Stage III testicular cancer.  He has endured numerous surgeries and six rounds of chemotherapy.  Unfortunately, these are expensive.  Brett is a college student and does not have the best insurance.  He is in need of two transplants, but his insurance will only pay for one. 

Brett’s family has organized the Fafard 5K run/walk as an effort to raise the $125,000 needed to pay for the second transplant.  It is only $20 (preregistration)/$25 (same-day registration) to participate.
