Something to think about:

Earlier this year, I contacted MarDel Photography about purchasing our negatives.  They were available to purchase for $90.  When I went to pick them up, the receptionist said that someone else had called wanting to purchase their negatives (they were married a year or two earlier than Bryan and I) and their negatives had been destroyed. 

If you got married in the non-digital age, I would HIGHLY recommend you contact your photographer and purchase the negatives.  I also have a waiver from MarDel giving me permission to use the photos as I please.
