Last night for Young Women we held our “2nd Annual Back to School Night”.  Last year the girls went to Seminary, Gym, Math & Driver’s Ed (the girls raced small tricycles).  This year the girls went to English, Home Economics, Science & Lunch.  I was the Science Teacher.

In “Science” class, the girls took a quiz on what was “botanically” a fruit and what was a “botanically” a vegetable (you might be surprised.  Look here).  Then we created …

After much anticipation, unfortunately, our bomb was a small “poof” instead of a large “BANG!”  (I forgot to have the girls shake the bag!  That’s apparently a VERY important part of the experiment!)

We sure enjoyed lunch!  (“Hey Napoleon, give me some of your tots!”)
