• 2006_03_01004 I am just getting ready to mod podge the paper to the wood on liberty.  I stayed up until 3:00 trying to make the color combinations work!  I love the papers ~ it’s that I wanted to do one thing on r & that would mean I needed a certain paper, but that certain paper is being used on e (which is right next door), so I have to change e.  I don’t like the paper combinations on t, so five times later, I think I’m done.  Finally, I decided I was running around in circles and needed to get some sleep for a "fresh" perspective.  I woke up this morning & loved them!  FUNNY!?  Yes, it is.  The way our brains work is a marvel!  I know what embellishments & ribbons, etc. are going where ~ so here goes ….. I’m off to mod podge!

    Don’t forget the contest!  A

  • Ladies!  I know you get on and read, but few of you post comments.  It’s not a rule, you don’t have to ~ but it’s FUN to read what you have to say!  You don’t have to sign up or give your information at all.  Just click on the COMMENTS link, type your name (just first) and your email address and your comment.

What’s in it for you (besides a lot of fun!)???  Drum roll, please …… A scrapbook page made by me!  You send my your pics & journaling – I send you a completed layout!  (Is that cool?).

The rules:  I will put everyone who comments from now (Yes, Carey & Missy you are in) until March 31st into a drawing to win.  You will be entered in the drawing once for each comment, so the number of times you are in the drawing is up to you!  Oh, yeah, and remember this is a family program!  😉

Have fun with it!  (I’ll post pics for today in a few hours!)  A

  • 2006_02_27002 This is how I left my kitchen table on Friday – I usually try to leave the house clean so you have that warm fuzzy feeling when you come home.  Not this time – we were lucky to get away!  I am so grateful that I was able to get away and clear my mind.  I definitely was NOT in the mood to create before!  But I am now ~ and it’s a good thing!  I am just cleaning my table and will get going on liberty.  I can’t go to bed until it’s done.  My package from Making Memories has not come, yet.  But it will!  I can’t wait!  I need to send a "shout out" to my friend at MM ~ Thank you for always helping me when I am in a bind!

I have some great pics to scrapbook from this weekend!  I’m sure I’ll be using some of them in some sample boards soon!

I hope you are all having a great day!  Enjoy the last day and a half of February ~ SPRING: Here we come!  A

  • Groovy_chicksThis is a sample page I did for the Chatterbox board.  The paper is their new Greenhouse Room.  As you know I love RED & orange.  I love how they combined red, orange, green & pink – & look how cute they are together!  The ribbons, brads, foam stamps & metal frames are Making Memories.

My friends and I used to go DISCO Rollerskating (BB- before Bryan) Saturday nights at Classic Rollerskating.  I was talking with Adrienne at the store about she and her friends going rollerskating and it reminded me of this great photo.  My pants are my mom’s palatzo (sp!?) pants & I can pull out each leg about 3′.  It was a little dangerous to be rollerskating in those ~ but what fun we had!

We leave in 2 hours!  I don’t have clothes packed, my primary stuff to my substitute, heck, we haven’t had breakfast.  I was up too late last night (4:30) & couldn’t get up!  I’d better get going!

I’ll "see" you next week!  A

  • 2006_02_23001_1 aaaaAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!  I just realized I hadn’t posted yet!  I am done with bloom, but since it’s not approved yet, I won’t show you the photos yet!  I was thinking of "unveiling" my new classes on Saturday, March 11.  That’s a little less than two weeks before Spring into Spring.

We are going to St. George for the weekend to watch my "little" bro. play basketball (go SNOW Badgers!) — & boy did I luck out!  I am waiting on a couple of things for liberty & "Oh, the Possibilities!" so I have a slight extension.  Tomorrow, I’ll show you the product board I still need to do tonight and then we will continue this next week until I am done.  It’s helping me ~ I am accountable for what I’ve done each day.

Thank you for coming along with me on this!   A

I haven’t gotten much done today!  As you can see, Riley had a lot of fun with my paints!  I am falling behind – quickly!!  I will finish bloom soon & will move on to liberty.  More later!  A

p.s. Yes, I did get it all cleaned up!

  • 2006_02_20001a_4 Yesterday I finished "eggs" (minust the egg) for the AMM website.  Unfortunately, my living room floor looks about the same – if not worse than it did yesterday!  Oh, well, that’s the way I work!

Today’s project is bloom.  Here’s a little snippet.  I hope you like the colors!  (the paper is Gin-X)  The font is completely different than anything we have done yet.  Wish me luck!

    Until tomorrow!  A

  • Hey guys!  I am frantically working on meeting my Friday deadline for next quarter’s classes.  What do I still have to design?  bloom, liberty & "oh, the possibilities!".  Yes, that means that I have absolutely nothing done.  Never fear!  With a week’s worth of late nights & lots of awesome products, I am sure to succeed.  What I thought I would do is give you a week’s worth of previews as I am creating.  That should get you excited before the big unveiling in March!  So here goes … this is my living room:

2006_02_20002a_2As you can see, it’s a mess!  But … it houses a plethora of awesome products!  Did you notice the new Chatterbox papers, the Heidi Swapp Credit Card embellishments & American Crafts ribbons that you can now purchase by the yard!?

I hope you enjoyed today’s previews!  I can’t wait to let you know what tomorrow has in store!

Thanks for your support!  TTFN! A

  • Okay, I’ve been tagged!  And I was always the last one standing in dodge ball!  I guess I’m “it”!  This is actually the second time I’ve been tagged, sorry Heidi!  I’m a fairly open person, but I do like to keep some things to myself.  Well, here goes:

The rules for this tag are as follows:  Remove the blog name in the top spot from the following list and bump everyone up one place.  Then add yourself to the bottom of the list.

    Leah

    HeidiZ.

    Heather

    Heidi

    Amber

staying up late & sleeping in late, doing too many things at once, not doing my hair & makeup everyday (although i don’t generally mind that J

), not exercising like I should.
