They double & triple-teamed him, he hit his head on the floor twice, ended up on the floor too many times to count.  He left "it" on the court … blood, sweat & tears.  The entire team did … and still, they lost by 3.

They're currently ranked 6th in the nation, but tonight they lost in the "elite 8" of the NAIA National Tournament.

I'm sure there will be national honors coming, but that doesn't matter to him.  He doesn't care a about personal accolades, he wanted his team to win.  He loves his team and has enjoyed playing at Westminster.

It's been a really fun season.  It's my brother's senior season, no more college basketball.  My boys are upset they didn't schedule more games.  They're not going to know what to do with themselves next winter.  What else do you do in the winter?  They know nothing other than watching my brother play ball every winter.  It's been fun for us all.  We'd be watching ball anyway, it's just fun that we can cheer on a family member.

You know, that's what a family is.  We're supposed to be each other's biggest "cheerleaders".  You don't tear down a family member, you build them up.  If they are having a hard time, you are there to help lift them, not stomp on them when they are down.  A family is a "safe haven" from the world.

How funny, I started talking about basketball and ended with family.  We are happy we've Amberhad the chance to support my brother!  I can't wait to see where the road takes he and his cute wife!
