So … tonight we're saying our family prayer and it's Riley's turn to say it. He likes either Bryan or I to help him (usually me). Anyway, I'm helping him say the prayer and I "suggest" he say:
"Bless us that we will BUILD each other up."
This is what he says:
"Bless us that we will BEAT each other up."
After I was able to control my laughter (of course it's me that's a bad example and laughing), I helped him pray for the correct blessing and we finished.
Like I said, a misinterpretation. The really ironic thing is that Riley has been having this "little" issue: he hits! Now he's praying for help to do it really good! What are we teaching our two cute hoodlums? GEEZ!
