What's the one thing you can't scrapbook without?  Pictures.  You can scrap without fancy paper, embellishments and chipboard letters, but you can't scrap without pictures, for very long!

You know, I think I do a pretty good job at taking pictures of the boys.  I've learned a lot about composition.  You know, like make sure there isn't a mess behind the kids (I move it just out of the picture!), wipe off their faces, don't have anything funny in the background that might look like it's growing out of their head and shoot from different angles.  Also, sometimes you're going to look like a fool following your family around trying to shoot them in their "natural element".

And then you have someone who knows what they are doing take your pictures and they come up with something like this:

and I realized that I really have NO clue what I'm doing!

That bites!  I even bought a REALLY good book at the recommendation of my SIL Rebecca and it's helped me … catch a lot of dust.  I'm starting to realize I need help … classes, I think I might be Digital SLR illiterate (outside the auto & P modes)!?  When I think of the untapped potential of my camera … but still, I am not ashamed of what I somehow manage to come up with.  Just don't ask me to recreate it because I don't know how I got there in the first place!  😉

I have some assignments coming up that I wanted new pics for.  Rebecca has so much on her plate right now and I didn't want to add anything else.  Enter Haylee.  She took pics of our friend's family.  I was impressed with theirs, Haylee had a fabulous deal going to help "provide economic relief" (I think that's how she put it on her blog) and so we tried her.  I now have TWO favorite photographers!  So, if you are in the market for some fabulous photos to put on those scrapbook pages you work so hard on, I can wholeheartedly recommend:
