Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I’ve never done this, but I decided my boys are neglected.  I haven’t done green food on St. Patrick’s Day … ever!  I know!  It’s HORRIBLE!  Anyway, I decided to surprise them with green milk in their cereal.  It was not appreciated!  I had to remind them that there was no more milk and if they wanted breakfast, they would have to eat it with green milk.  It’s a good thing we went to dinner tonight and I didn’t make the green spaghetti with green breadsticks I had planned.  I wouldn’t want to force them to have fun!  WINK!

Want to hear the really luck part of my day?  Let me start with a couple pictures:

The clock on the right was my big "splurge" from Black Goose Design in Midvale, UT.  You know, the $140 clock that you shouldn’t buy, but can’t resist.  It was knocked off the wall a couple of times and finally stopped working.  I meant to get it fixed, never did and then "splurged" again.  Well, tonight that one was hit with a large ball and you can see what hapened to the minute hand.  I think between the two of them, I can have one that works.  Each boy has had a turn breaking a clock so hopefully we are done with breaking clocks!  I hope you’ve enjoyed my funny story!

Do you know what made my day the "luckiest"?  Having two little boys in my life to complain and break my favorite clock(s).  I don’t know what I’d do with out them and Bry.

Didn’t you learn by reading my blog that green milk is a bad, bad idea? Good luck with the clock(s).
