I really like how these both turned out.  In fact, I wanted to save them for my CK Hall of Fame entry (I’ve been talked into it).  I hope you like them as much!  This should give you a great start on your calendars for 2009.

Computer Tips:  If you would like to use the same techniques I used in my photo on the February page, follow these instructions provided in the January CK:

1. Open your photo and duplicate it onto a second layer.
2. Change the bottom layer to black and white or desaturate it.
3. Add a digital frame above the color photo layer.
4. Cut away the portion of the photo that is outside the frame to reveal the black and white photo.
