I guess I’m showing my age, but I have been having fun listening to "the Boss" this morning on the Today Show. I’ve sung along with songs from my youth … My Home Town had to be my favorite! I didn’t realize Springstein has been singing since before I was born! I guess when you are a teenager and "discover" someone new, you always think they just started and then you get surprised to learn they’ve been around for 10 years or so … and even worse, your PARENTS like them, too! (The same thing happened with another favorite band, U2) I can remember "rocking" out to Springstein, Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, the Beach Boys, the Monkeys and many other "greats". It’s amazing how music can bring back emotions!
And, by the way, Springstein and Bono are still HOT! They’re just "old hotties!"
Well, I’ve got to go finish getting ready for the Expo! I’ll see you there: South Towne Expo Center. 9575 South State Street, Sandy, UT. I’ll be there from 3:30 until about 6:30 so look for me!
